Nauthusagil, near Stora-Mork, South Iceland

Into the slot canyon at Nauthusagil.
Chains and wet rock up to the falls.

A narrow slot-canyon gorge you wade and scramble up, chains bolted into the rock, to a waterfall tucked at the back. A short, adventurous detour off the road toward Thorsmork. Wear shoes you do not mind soaking and mind your footing on the wet rock.
