Kerid Crater
Grimsnes, South Iceland
A 3,000-year-old volcanic crater near Grimsnes with red rock walls and a still, teal lake at the bottom. An easy add on the Golden Circle loop, right by where we stayed. Walk the rim, then the path down to the water. A small fee at the gate.
