Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon
Jokulsarlon, Southeast Iceland
The glacier lagoon where icebergs calve off and drift to the sea, and the launch point for the blue ice cave tours in the cold months. We did the morning ice cave trip with a local guide; standing inside the glacier is the picture that stays with you. The lagoon itself is free to walk.
