Cheonggyecheon

A sunken stream and walkway cut straight through the middle of downtown, and the most peaceful thing in the city center. Public art turns up along the banks and at Cheonggye Plaza at the western end. Drop down to the water and walk it in either direction; it is the easiest way to cross town on foot.
